A BILL to amend article nine, chapter sixty-four of the
code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred
thirty-one, as amended, by adding thereto a new
section, designated section nine, relating to
authorizing the contractor licensing board to
promulgate legislative rules relating to the West
Virginia contractor licensing act.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That article nine, chapter sixty-four of the code of
West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as
amended, be amended by adding thereto a new section,
designated section nine, to read as follows:
ARTICLE 9. AUTHORIZATION FOR MISCELLANEOUS AGENCIES AND
BOARDS TO PROMULGATE LEGISLATIVE RULES.
§64-9-9. Contractor licensing board.
The legislative rules filed in the state register on
the twenty-eighth day of July, one thousand nine hundred ninety-five, under the authority of section five, article
eleven, chapter twenty-one, of this code, modified by the
contractor licensing board to meet the objections of the
legislative rule-making review committee and refiled in
the state register on the fourth day of December, one
thousand nine hundred ninety-five, relating to the
contractor licensing board (West Virginia contractor
licensing act, 28 CSR 2), are authorized.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the
Contractor Licensing Board to promulgate legislative
rules relating to the West Virginia Contractor Licensing
Act.
